any ideas on this groat ? say's edward , narrows it down abit , looks like a pierced cross or fitchee ? and sun on obverse. thanks.............26 mm 2.9 g

I think that's about right. If you manage to straighten it without too much damage it should be eligible for UKDFD.

I've straitened a few coins over the years but that's a nasty crease with possible crack in that Groat, it will break if you touch that one.
