Been on hols on the South East Coast of Wales for 9 days and had permission to detect the fields next to the campsite. They've had this 'green waste' with bits of metal spread all over them.
They were actually spreading this stuff whilst I was there and I did some testing of the material thrown/spread. Sure enough, there were metal items included in it.
The land has been detected for many many years but still you never know do you. Well, its no good for detecting now. Not unless you want to be digging all day with just the off chance that one of the signals could be something of interest.
