ultimate coil for golden mask 1?,which headphones?

Hi all , first time out with the gm1 8khz , just a quick flick over quite a high iron pasture site , its a noisy little bugger, turned sens down and disc up and still a lot going on ,  this is single tone which makes it a bit more of a learning curve , and i do intend to learn this machine , but was wondering if something like a 13 ultimate coil, would calm things down a bit.
   Also wondering which model of Chef phones would work well with this loud single tone machine ,  as im currently using a pair of Maz big red phones which i think i will keep on my pulse detector.   cheers mike.

Cheers joel , just sent him a message , not sure if he is still around, just checked out the various phones and they look like the dogs bo##ocks!  just need to know if the 13 ultimate will fit the gm1 , its a 5 pin.

Hi there....Well first the bad news, as far as I'm aware there isn't an Ultimate coil made for the GM 1.
Moving on to the headphones, well that's a lot easier....The GM one has copied it's audio profile from Fisher and Tesoro machines and so the best model in the Chefphones range would be the CP2, either the Superlight or "Black" version.

Thanks geoff, is that applicable to all the gm range, as regards the coil?i bought the gm1 on impulse but the gm4 is looking pretty good.

Yes there are no Ultimates but they do make SEF coils for the 4 and 1+HF, you can buy these as standard with the machines which works out cheaper
