Hi guys and gals, i am looking for a half decent sand scoop, read lots of posts on here about inferior scoops that break under weight, so can someone point me in the right direction please.  Smiley

I bought mine on a visit to Regton in Birmingham. Solid blue plastic. Had no problems with mine.

In the environment that a sand scoop will be used there is only one metal and that is stainless steel and believe you and me it will not come cheap.

If your beach detecting is only now and then it is not worth the cost when a garden type spade will do the job.

If you Google 'Evolution Sand Scoops' I use one of theirs.

ok great will have to look again, but while i was mooching around the house, i found that my toothbrush holder is made of stainless steel and full of holes and just needs a handle attaching to it  Wink
