Looks like there are a few round marks in that field. Is it on a rise. Could be Bronze Age.
Always worth a visit. You never know what you might find. Remember as well the Romans were well known to pay tribute to the old gods, even the Brittania ones,

yes its on a rise not to far from a series of known mounds on the coast seeking permission just can't contact the land owner yet but fingers crossed  Smiley
