i found this silver spoon whilst out detecting today.if possible could you tell me a bit more about it please pete.
the first stamp looks like an N sideways..then a griffins head i think..then the lion..then someones head.

griffins head!!!....its a leopard you spanner Grin London assay mark,, cant see the date letter, but can see the british sterling standard lion passant and also the duty mark which looks george third.
