7.30 start today saw The Pipster & Nomad hitting fields in a nearby location(Pips land). We were like 2 kids in a sweet factory which field to choose first, as the lovely farmer had lovingly prepared his land for the dynamic duo (Ploughed & Rolled) Grin.
The first find of the day went to Pip, which is thought to be a Roman pendant, but I could be wrong, feel free to comment on my pictures. Nomad found a host of pre decimal coins,my next decent find was a roman coin & a few musket balls.
After a fantastic picnic supplied by Shelly(Yum yum, thanks  Wink we headed for field number 2, which was lacking in finds compared to the first field. I shouted to Nomad, I found silver in the shape of a silver spoon handle, but not to be out done, Nomad came across to me with a smiley face & clutched in his hand was a "Hammie".
All in all a super day, many thanks Nomad & Shelly.

Looks like a good day out with some finds to boot.

We've had a bit of rain today so that'll help soften the ground. A good downpour then some more sun
please!  Smiley

Well done both sounds like you had a great day. The "pendant" is a bell clapper, post medieval going by the squared top.

A good day out guys and I agree with Cheffy - it does look like a bell clanger.

See you soon
