Ok We've got a fix on the date for out two Day Rally and that is 20th and 21st August 2011. We will have a choice of 400 acres across two farms. We are still ascertaining which land to use but all the land will be Stubble and most of it is to be disked short.

As usual we are planning to have a Token Hunt for prizes , hopefully an F.L.O on site and a BBQ for the night. We're still open to ideas at the moment.

The farmer has offered us a field to camp on the farm with a water supply and Extension lead for electric Rough and ready or do we want to go along with a proper campsite. My only problem with an official campsite is that its summer hols and there will be a lot of families booked into these sites.

If you could give feedback ideas and preferences - BUT NOT SIGN at the moment that would be great.

Hi Rob. I'll give you my 2p worth although I wont be using it but hope to be there for 1 day.
I think Rough and ready is more fun. Like being a kid again and camping out in the field down the road.(those were the days)  A torch with dici battery, couple of slices of bread, bag of crisps and a bottle of pop. No washing and freedom. Great.

I can bring my Rally-Shack Trailer.

240 volts and 12volt power, solar panels, flushing toilet, computer broadband access and 25 foot dongle antenna. Gas cooker and gas fired heater.

Cant go without too many creature comforts.
