Had a few hours in the lovely Vale of Glamorgan today - had another denarius, unfortunately this one is broken, but I believe it's Vespasian. Also the small brooch, George VI sixpence and then to cap it all a lovely little Neolithic flint scraper or blade. Sorry, the scanned picture isn't great and will get some better ones tomorrow.

Thanks for improving the picture Geoff. You could do worse than a F75! I do seem to be having a good spell at the moment, though I think it may just be the old 'being in the right spot to walk over it' scenario.

I'm not sure if I'd recommend my settings if you're new to the F75, because it can be very noisy - I just know it very well now and hardly ever vary these settings unless I'm getting interference from power cables or electric fences, when I reduce the sensitivity just enough to quieten things down a bit.

I use it in Discrim mode, Sensitivity 85, Disc 0, Notch 1, Tones 2F, Mode JE.
