Ok guys no you're not seeing things , no tafflaff hasnt been out in the sun too long, yes we've skipped one for the moment , but thats cos its going to take a bit of planning. Below will follow the idea, none of it is cast in stone we're looking for support or some feedback.  We have a couple  farms in mind the area is THE GOWER  in spitting distance of a hitoric site.

*UPDATE* Date for 2 dayer probably July 12th...This is not definate but will give you an idea

All those intending to camp please pm me as those details need to be got asap to book the campsite places

Campsite facilities are as follows:-

Showers
Toilets
Restaurant -Cafe
Right on the beach

Day 1:- Meet at Camp site
Get to farm (not far away)
             Rally.
BBQ, Drink,  Wander onto beach with tectors.
             Overnight Camp

Day 2:-
              2nd farm Rally

PS. We may be having some oversea Visitors.

Some members have expressed an interest in doing some fishing on the beach , no problem guys its your time, I may well join you

As we have discussed Rob this is fine with me.

I would suggest perhaps a weekend during the first 3 weeks of July as it means the kids aren't off school and a lot more could attend, as people ttend to book their holidays when the kids are off - doesn't bother me as I have none!

If we could have another farm for the 2nd day - all well and good. If people want to go beach detecting I think they will just naturally do it anyway. We may find that Day 1 farm is worth 2 days visits especially if we were to limit the fields, and if our theories on the farm are correct - I would keep the location well and truly under your hat for the time being though.

Loved your interview with the ducks by the way and all the other videos - great job mate

cheers
Neil

As you know from me Rob the whole area looks well interesting, but the beach does have that safe landing look about it so could be quite interesting. I would say give people the choice. As you may not know I am due to become a dad again around this time ( bad timing on my part ) so can only provisionally say i will be their. But what a great Idea. Well done Rob.

I agree with Neil , avoid the school holidays ( and the traffic ) and 2 farms would be 'tectin' heaven , I just need a tent !

I am up for it. Last week of July and first week of August are out for me cos I am off to the South Coast (Where of course I intend to find a hoard). As an ex-army blokey I am relishing being under canvas again...Have I ever told you all that during the war...
