It's on Saturday
New farm for us in an exciting area of Somerset. We have 100 acres of harrowed (Not ploughed) fields.

In the immediate area we have a 12th century church built on top of a pre christian settlement, Roman coin scatters, Roman road crosses our land, Medieval settlement and post medieval windmill and quakers burial site.

No promises but it does look very interesting.  Smiley

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally and the rally fee is £7.00 as normal.

Good luck everyone, on this rally.  Regretfully its local derby day here ... Saints v Leicester and its always a good match!  So apologies this time, but next time ... could be a goer!

cheers

Geoff I couldn't find a Roman coin even if Julius Caesar had had an affair with a long lost ancestor of mine who had been a goat herder, and he called one day to get some goats milk from her and paid her in Roman coins, which she scattered across the fields in the hope that they would grow.

I was only asking as Virgin land is always preferable and anything else is like a women of the night, You still have a great time but you always get the distinct feeling someone else have been there before!  Grin Grin

Will see you all Sunday!
