Benny, everyone gets directions sent to their inbox. Its automated and if you are on the list, you should get them.

Even if your inbox says 0 new messages, check it as you will find the directions are in there. Failing that, let me know that you have not received them. The latest they get sent is 20.00 hrs the evening before the rally. If you don't get them, put a shout in the shout box and one of the mods or myself will send them manually   Smiley

Sounds very interesting, but am signed up for work so will have to wait and see. I might jump on if I don't get work, if there are still spaces with short notice.

Some meaty info
"The pottery recovered comprised typical medieval and post-medieval rural assemblages and analysis of animal bone recovered from features dating to both periods indicated that horseflesh was used to feed dogs that were being exploited for the trade in dog skins between Britain and Europe"

"The site appears to have been abandoned during the 4th century AD although a residual coin of c AD3670 was found in a post-medieval context. The site remained largely unoccupied until the late medieval period (14th-15th centuries), when it was incorporated into tenements divided by a north-south"

I think it could be a different place Morley as the village couldn't have been abandoned until the 14th-15thC because it's mentioned in the Domesday book and also has a 13thC church. The pottery was mainly Roman with 13th and 14thC on top Wink
