Thanks Dale, powder holder cap, I do find them on a semi regular basis but normally they have been hit by the plough and are pretty 'squished'

It took me a while to realise it was a £2 coin, already the coin is in bad shape!

It took me a while to realise it was a £2 coin, already the coin is in bad shape!

I never had one myself, its something iv always wanted to find, iv plenty of muskets though so the measurer must be around somewhere;D

Your right the £2 is a little pickled, even the greenie above has had its fair share of corrosion......But your 2 silvers look great Wink

It must be a Somerset thing as I find them on an annual basis too but we did have more than our fare share of civil war scraps down this way it certainly wasn't the healthiest place to live in those days Wink
