hi all, i am new to all these forums, let me just introduce myself,i am 65 years old,and live in portskewett (between the two severn bridges) i have been detecting now for about 15 years, but for the
past 13 not very seriously, just taking it on holidays etc, until i met up with my old mate after about 30yrs, he lives in chepstow and goes regularly,he asked me to go out with him,and now the bug has bitten me,and i am out most of the time weather and household chores permitting,we live in a good finds area, but i have not found very much myself, only about 6 hammered, and only one roman grot,4 cap badges, and the usual rubbish,  i started off with a whites coinmaster three, then a spectrum 4, going to a dfx,and now xp gmp which i am having trouble getting on with after the dfx,
unfortunatly most of our fields are under crop at the moment hay or wheat, so we have to go on pasture or in woods, a very good forum by the way ,i have tried to get on here for some time, but
kept getting blocked by the numbers/letters which were not there. all for now hh cronge
