Just thought I'd let you all know I was in a car crash today. I was waiting patiently for a car to come out of a junction so I could turn in and go up. It's the kind of narrow junction where you have to wait if something's coming out before you can go in. So, while I'm waiting, another car rear shunts me and smashes into my drivers side rear end. Luckily, it wasn't a direct hit, so to speak, but still did considerable damage to both cars.

Anyway, I wrenched my neck in the process and the doctor at the hospital said it will probably get worse over the next few days (great). My car isn't too badly damaged but will be off the road until insurance repairs it (theirs, not mine). I only recently bought the car too!

Big thanks to Steve OzzyHead for taking me to the hospital to get checked out. What a day! Sad

Can you have a hire car in the meantime. Most insurance companies will automatically provide one for non fault accidents.  Ask fella.

Alan, the funny thing is I didn't feel it at first. The adrenaline was probably masking it. But later, it really kicks in. Yeah, you're right though. I'll be taking it easy for the next few days. Smiley

Rob, my insurance company said my policy doesn't cover courtesy cars. I will be going fully comp at my next renewal in May, because then I'll have four years no claims. Shame, huh.

Leighton, sorry to hear than mate, Be careful with whiplash, your not supposed to drive (it can impair you ability to make proper observation!) Been there, had the arguments with the insurance companies, your O.K. if you don't have a collar.
Some repair places will give you a hire car, you dont have to use the one recommended by the insurance company,  Wink
Hope your better soon fella.
Take care.

they will say that fella , go with a company that specialises in reclaiming uninsured losses. They will hire a car for you and it will actually speed the claim and subsequent claim along.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Leighton

If you in any pain contact one of theses claims People

I witnessed an assult on a Park car attendant at the Royal Glam weeks ago id forgoten all about it till a Police woman called in today for a statement .
The attendant is claiming for loss of earnings and a stress related illness.ive got to go to court because the attacker is saying nothing happened there was only Use 3 in the portacabin at the time, there was a CCtv camera but it wasnt turned on ;0(

Go for it fella maybe the person who hit you will be a better driver knowing you cant get away with bad driving
